Emergencies

Many dental injuries can be remedied if you act quickly. If your child needs urgent dental treatment, please call our office immediately. During office hours, although priority is given to existing patients in the practice, all emergency patients will either be seen by our staff or directed to other care facilities that will also render competent intervention. Likewise, after hour calls will be directed to the most appropriate care facilities. We are always here to assist when your child’s dental health is at risk.

Pediatric Dental Emergencies

It’s easy to panic when your child has experienced an injury to their face or mouth. Please don’t hesitate to call us if you have a question about your child’s injury so we can help you determine the best approach to address the situation. Some injuries are more urgent than others. Call our office if your child has experienced one of the following:

Bitten lip or tongue that is bleeding
Object caught in teeth (that isn’t able to be removed with dental floss)
Broken, chipped, or fractured tooth
Knocked out tooth
Loose permanent tooth
Toothache
Facial swelling
